For Convenience, Fun and Comfort
Try Sheraton Broadway Plantation
On your next trip to Myrtle Beach, there is
a resort worth looking into. Sheraton Broadway
Plantation Resort is much more than a place to
stay; it is an experience, an atmosphere, a small,
secluded and well-planned gated community of
exceptionally comfortable, spacious two-bedroom
villas and enough services and amenities to keep
parents and their children amused for days. It
is also right next to the Strand’s famous
Broadway at the Beach with its many amusements
and restaurants, and the ocean and beach are
only minutes away.

Sheraton
Broadway Plantation is one of more than a dozen
vacation ownership properties of Starwood Vacation
Ownership, Inc. an Orlando-based hospitality
company, whose parent company is Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.,
that also owns some of the world’s leading
resort and hotel brands that include Westin,
Sheraton, St. Regis and Four Points comprising
over 750 properties worldwide.
The vacation ownership division of Starwood
includes Sheraton, Westin and St. Regis branded
resorts. The Starwood vacation ownership plan
is the largest, most flexible and comprehensive
in the hospitality industry. More on that in
a bit.
Back to the Sheraton Broadway Plantation. Driving
through the gate to the small, quaint resort
community, one notices how well landscaped it
is, with palm trees, greenswards adjacent lakes
with fountains in the center, and the dozen low-level
residential buildings that surround the lakes.
The one-level main building includes the registration
counter, a concierge, and a separate golf concierge
where you can book your tee times and obtain
discounts at most of Myrtle Beach’s courses
during certain days of the week.
The main complex also includes a video game
room, fitness center, tennis, volley ball and
basketball courts, an indoor-outdoor pool with
spa and a nine-hole miniature golf course.
The villas at Sheraton Broadway Plantation offer
all the luxuries a resort home should have, including
a living room with sleeper sofa, an entertainment
center, and a color TV in each bedroom. All feature
a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area
and most have breakfast bar seating for two,
while some may have a whirlpool bath in the master
suite and a screened terrace.
The villas are available for rent by any guest,
but they are particularly attractive to a growing
segment of the vacation market that sees ownership
as the way to go in vacation travel. Owners are
automatically enrolled in the Starwood Vacation
Network program whose features are:
- Ownership of a villa for a vacation interval
that can conveniently be exchanged for another
interval, space permitting;
- The ability to vacation at any other Starwood
Vacation Ownership resorts with no exchange
fees;
- The ability to convert their villas into
points through Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG)
redeemable at Starwood’s 750 hotels and
resorts in 80 countries and, with no blackout
dates, vacation planning is even more convenient.
Also, through the Starwood American Express
Card, cardholders collect points that can be
redeemed for airlines, car rentals, golf, merchandise
and much more.
As the world’s largest awards program,
the SPG has garnered some of the hospitality
industry’s most coveted awards from such
sources as Global Finance Magazine, which named
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide the "World's
Best Global Hotel Company."
